The role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the visibility of STA Travel and gain further experience in a Marketing role. You will be working across all aspects of marketing to assist in the delivery of the marketing plan.
Key skills:
This role will require you to work in offline and online marketing, brand development, partnerships, exhibitions, press publications and ad hoc tasks within the department. Ideally you will have at least 1 years experience in a marketing role, although demonstration of an equal level of experience would also qualify you for the position.
You must be able to prioritise projects effectively and multi-task whilst ensuring attention to detail. The team is small, so you will need to have the confidence to work both autonomously and with colleagues. You should be creative and must have excellent communication skills. A passion for travel and good commercial awareness will also be beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
Campaigns
· Work with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to ensure delivery of selected marketing campaigns
· Work with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to produce reporting packs post-campaign
· Co-ordinate development and placement of classified advertising and related activity, including keeping relevant web pages up to date and post-publication reporting
· Work with our product team to ensure effective campaign communication to branches and call centres on all activity, including product notes and window templates
· Manage the promotion of Marketing news on our intranet site
· Assist the Marketing Executive with Local Marketing from branches and internal partners (eg Key Accounts) – writing briefs and supplying the branches with artwork
· Coordinate STA Travel presence at fairs and events
· Assist the Partnerships Executive in the delivery of Partnership campaigns, where needed
· Support branch managers with day-to-day queries
· Manage the Marketing inbox, responding and distributing mail as appropriate
· Manage the DDI report – allocating and weekly reporting on dedicated telephone numbers
· Manage the fulfilment of STA Travel prize winners – contact, assist with booking and keep records up to date
Online support
· Manage online content with the Online Product Executive as appropriate
· Monitor our social media platforms for customer questions
· Monthly reconciliation of unassigned orders that have come through our PPC campaign
· Provide quality assurance by reviewing the PPC campaign, aggregators, and on-site flight uploads
You will also be required to contribute to ad-hoc company projects and deliverables on behalf of the marketing team, as required
